Terms and Conditions

 

All reservations made in the accommodations managed by SCH are governed by the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Booking Conditions

 

1.1 Minimum Age: Reservations will only be accepted from customers over 18 years of age.

 

1.2 Confirmation of reservation: Reservations will only be confirmed after receipt of the deposit or good charge of the credit card provided.

 

1.3 Occupancy: All types of accommodation are subject to the maximum number of occupancy established.

 

1.4 Minimum stay - All reservations are subject to a minimum number of nights that varies between 2, 5 or 7 nights according to the specific dates. SCH reserves the right to change the minimum number of nights on specific dates.

 

 

1.5 Changes in reservation - Any change in the reservation, namely dates of stay, number of guests per accommodation or number of confirmed accommodations will be subject to prices in force at the time of the change of reservation, which may vary from the values previously presented.

 

 

2. Prices

 

2.1 Prices - The prices shown are per night per accommodation.

 

2.2 Changes in Prices and Conditions: All rates, offers and promotions are subject to specific restrictions, terms and conditions.  SCH has the right to change at any time or apply to restricted dates any rate, offer or promotion.

 

3. Rates and Cancellation Policy

 

The cancellation policy varies according to the rate selected at the time of your reservation:

 

3.1 Standard Fee: To confirm your reservation you must make a deposit of 20% within 7 days after the time of booking, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled.

This rate provides for free cancellation up to 30 days before the check-in date, after this date the deposit will not be returned.

The remaining amount must be paid up to 30 days before the check-in date, and will not be returned in case of cancellation, non-attendance or change of reservation.

 

3.2 - Non-Refundable Fee: In this case your reservation will only be confirmed after good collection of the total amount of your reservation.

In case of cancellation or alteration of the reservation, the amount paid will not be returned.

 

3.3 - No Show: If the check-in is not made within the established times, the reservation is considered as no show, and the same cancelled. In this case, the amount already paid will not be refunded. 

 

4. Payment

 

At the different times of your booking process, regardless of the rate you choose, payment and/or deposit should be made through:

Credit Card (American Express credit card payments are not accepted);

Bank Transfer;

PayPal;

MBway

 

In the event of fees or occurrences during the stay, SCH reserves the right to charge the outstanding amounts daily.

 

 

5. Deposit 

 

On the day of Check-in a deposit in the amount of 200 Euros must be given and will be returned up to a maximum of 14 days after the date of Check-out if there has been no damage to the accommodation or the need for specialised cleaning.

 

The deposit can be delivered by the following methods:

- Pre-authorization of this amount on the credit card;

- Paypal;

- MBway;

- Bank Transfer;

- Cash

 

When the amount of losses exceeds the amount of the deposit, SCH also reserves the right to charge these amounts to your credit card upon departure.

 

6. Changes or cancellations for which SCH is responsible 

 

In exceptional situations, SCH reserves the right to assign another accommodation to the guest, or if it is not possible to assign an alternative accommodation, SCH reserves the right to cancel the guest's reservation.

In case of cancellation, the guest will be reimbursed for the total amount already paid, and SCH assumes no additional responsibility adjacent to the cancellation of the same.

 

7. Check-in 

 

 7.1 - Identifying Documents

 

- Days before check-in you will receive a link where you should provide personal data and identification documents of all guests.

- The completion and signature of the form is essential for the delivery of the keys. If this document is not duly completed and sent on time, SCH reserves the right to refuse their stay, there being no refund of the amounts already paid.

 

7.2 Collecting the keys

 

7.2.1 Collecting the keys in the Safe - You can collect the keys free of charge in the safe at any time from 3:00 pm. In due time you will be informed of the necessary procedures as well as the address of the collection of the keys which varies between the address of the SCH office or the address of the accommodation.

 

 

7.2.2- Collection of keys at the office  You can also choose to collect the keys to your apartment or holiday home in the SCH office every day from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. If you wish to collect your keys by 24:00, extra charges will apply. After 24:00 you can only collect the keys from the safe. 

 

7.3 Check-in Time

 

7.3.1 - Timetable for entry into accommodation -Regardless of the type of key collection you choose, you may only enter the property from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. on the day following the check-in date, otherwise it will be considered as no show and your reservation will be cancelled. We ask you to notify SCH in due time of your expected arrival time to ensure that the accommodation you have booked is available and ready for your arrival.

 

 

7.3.2 - Arrival at the accommodation before 15:00 - If you wish to enter the accommodation before 15:00 you should contact SCH in due time and is only guaranteed when you receive a confirmation from us. In this case additional fees may apply.

 

7.3.3 No Show - If you have not checked in (in the case of self check-in the next morning or you have not checked in at SCH's office on time), your reservation will be considered as a no-show and the rules established in the cancellation policy will apply.

 

8. Check-out

 

8.1 Check-out Time - You must leave the accommodation by 10:00. If this schedule is not adhered to, Extra Fees may apply.

 

8.2 Late Check-out - If you wish to request a late check-out, you should contact the reception which will confirm the availability of late check-out. In this case Extra Fees may be applied.

 

 

9. Personal data 

 

SCH recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy and security of all information provided by our customers.

 

The personal data provided will be used for the purposes of opening a customer file, invoicing and whenever required by law provided to the Foreign and Border Service or other entity with the legal power to consult them.

 

The data collected will be stored in a computer reservation management system and the photos of the documents requested for the online check-in process will be automatically deleted after check-out. The signed documents will be kept in paper format for as long as legally necessary.

 

The personal data collected through the website will be processed by SCH's team manually and through data processing systems, for the purpose of following up your requests and carrying out activities in the areas of marketing, promotional activities and forwarding of information material related to products and services offered by SCH. In all cases, data will only be collected and processed with the prior and informed consent of the user, as described in SCH's Privacy Policy and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

9. Guest Behaviors

 

By contracting SCH's products and services, you agree to comply with the internal regulations for the use of the accommodation and SCH cannot be held responsible for any damage suffered by the guest as a result of any breach of these regulations.

 

The guest also agrees to behave appropriately and respectfully towards the SCH team and the tenants of the contracted accommodation.

 

SCH reserves the right to ask you to leave the accommodation if your behaviour is not appropriate or if you are harassing a third party.

 

SCH is not responsible for any damages, accidents or inconveniences caused by reasons beyond its responsibility

 

 

10. Accommodation 

 

The characteristics of SCH houses/apartments are those in the reserve. However, since the photographs on the website were not taken on the day the reservation was made by the client, there may be non-substantial differences between the photograph and the reality at the time of enjoyment of the services contracted by the client, which do not entitle the client to any modification of the contract.

 

11 Damage, accident or theft 

 

SCH is not responsible for any accidents, damage or theft that may occur before, during and after the stay to any guest, inside and outside the accommodation managed by SCH.

 

 

12. Alternative Dispute Resolution

 

Under the terms of Law no. 144/2015 of September 8, the Client may resort to the following Alternative Dispute Resolution Entities:

13 Changes to Terms and Conditions

 

SCH may revise the above Terms and Conditions whenever necessary to meet legal or technological requirements. Any changes will be posted on www-sch-holidays.com.
